Holiday care at kiana

Does this sound familiar? The school holidays are just around the corner and suddenly you ask yourself: ‘Who’s going to look after the kids?’ Don’t worry, we have the solution at our kiana daycare centres! We know how important a familiar environment is for your little ones, especially after a short break from daycare. That’s why we are delighted to present our fantastic additional service: holiday care at our kiana daycare centres in the cantons of Aargau, Lucerne, Schaffhausen, Schwyz, Zug and Zurich.

Your home away from school: holiday care for former kiana kids.

Our holiday programme is for children from nursery age to the end of Year 3. We want to give you the opportunity to let your children spend their holidays in a place they already know and feel comfortable in. Isn’t that great? They will quickly find their feet and have fun with their old friends right away.

Booking holiday care – for existing kiana families

If your child has already attended a kiana daycare centre, you can conveniently book holiday care via the Leoba parent app. If you no longer use the app or do not yet have access, please re-register on the parent portal. To do so, follow the same procedure as external families.

Your booking is valid as soon as it has been confirmed by the nursery and appears as ‘Confirmed’ on the parent portal.

Important information about holiday care

• Full-day care: Holiday care can only be booked on a full-day basis.
• Flexible booking: There is no minimum number of care days. You can book exactly the days you need.
• Availability of holiday places: Holiday care depends on the available capacity at the respective kiana nursery. We therefore recommend booking as early as possible.

It is particularly important to us that all children feel comfortable with us, especially after a long break. That is why the nursery management decides whether childcare is possible. If it is not possible, we will of course discuss this with you.

Information about booking

By booking via the Leoba parent portal, you confirm the following points:

• Correct information: All information in the parent portal is correct and complete.
• Cancellation: Booked childcare days can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 weeks before the start of holiday childcare. After that, the full amount is due before the start of childcare, as the reserved place cannot be reallocated at short notice. Unfortunately, this also applies in the event of illness.
• Prices: The prices for childcare during the holidays are based on the price list for the respective location on our website. The rate for additional days is based on the child rate.
• Our terms and conditions, which you confirmed when you signed the contract, also apply.

Children who do not currently attend our nursery can also attend holiday care at a kiana nursery during the holidays. However, the number of places is limited. Bookings can only be made via the Leoba parent portal or the Leoba parent app. All parents must register in advance to gain access to Leoba.

How external families book holiday care

• Select your preferred nursery:

• Fill in your personal details: Start the registration process and enter the details of the legal guardians.
• Complete the registration: In the next step, ‘Offer’, select the option ‘We only want to book holiday care’ and follow the remaining steps of the booking process to complete the registration.
• Wait for confirmation email: Once registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email, which is sent manually by the nursery management. It may therefore take some time for the confirmation email to be sent.
• Download the Leoba app & book holiday care dates: Use the registration link in the confirmation email to log in to the Leoba parent portal and book the desired care dates in the Leoba parent app.
